Booking Terms for Hotel Arkad
We warmly welcome you to Hotel Arkad! By confirming your booking, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.
Group Bookings
A booking of 5 or more rooms is considered a group booking and is subject to special conditions.
Cancellation and Modification of Hotel Rooms
- Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before arrival.
- Cancellations made later than 24 hours before arrival will be charged the full cost of your stay.
- Modifications to your booking are subject to availability, and prices may be adjusted according to current conditions.
- If you booked through a third party, cancellations must be made through the party you booked with and are subject to their terms and conditions.
Cancellation and Modification of Group Bookings
- Free cancellation of the entire group is allowed up to 4 weeks before arrival.
- If cancellation occurs later, 50% of the total booking cost will be charged.
- Free cancellation of individual rooms within the group is allowed up to 2 weeks before arrival. Later cancellations will be charged the cost of the first night.
Cancellation and Modification of Conference Rooms
- Free cancellation is available up to 4 weeks before arrival. Later cancellations will be charged 50% of the total cost.
- Modifications are subject to availability.
Meals for Conferences
- Information about desired meals must be provided at least 2 weeks before arrival.
- Information about allergies or special dietary requirements must be provided at least 1 week before arrival. If this information is not provided within the specified time frame, we cannot guarantee that your requests will be accommodated.
Arrival and Departure
- Check-in is available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival.
- Check-out must be completed by 12:00 PM on the day of departure.
Late Arrival
- The room is reserved until 11:00 PM. If you expect to arrive later, please inform the hotel in advance to avoid the room being rented to another guest.
No Show
- In the event of a no-show, the full cost of your stay will be charged.
Early Departure
- If you depart earlier than planned, you will be charged for the entire booked period, including an additional night to cover lost revenue, if the room cannot be rented to another guest.
Payment
- Payment is due at check-in unless otherwise agreed.
- Prepayment or invoicing can be arranged in advance.
- The hotel reserves the right to require a booking fee or prepayment, which will be deducted from the final bill.
Pets and Smoking
- Pets are only allowed if the hotel has given prior consent. A fee of 300 SEK for the entire stay will be charged for dogs.
- Smoking is prohibited in the hotel's premises. Smoking in unauthorized areas is considered vandalism, and a fee of 10,000 SEK will be charged to your card.
Responsibility for Damage
- In case of violation of our rules regarding pets and smoking, or in the event of other damages, a fee will be charged, and you may be asked to leave the hotel immediately.
Lost Items and Theft
- The hotel is not responsible for belongings left in the room or in other areas unless negligence by the hotel can be proven.
Hotel's Obligations
- If we cannot provide the agreed room, you are entitled to an equivalent or better room within the hotel or at a hotel of the same standard, at no additional cost.
Room Defects & Compensation
- Any defects in the room must be reported to the reception within one hour of check-in. The hotel is not responsible for defects that are not reported within this timeframe.
- Compensation, if any, will be assessed based on the current circumstances.
Force Majeure
- Hotel Arkad may cancel the booking without liability for compensation in the event of circumstances such as strikes, pandemics, fires, wars, or other events beyond our control.
